Using TDA Essay Topics

Using TDA Essay TopicsA TDA essay topic is similar to a crossword puzzle in that there are no pre-planned answers or clues and you can move around in the puzzle. The end result of the puzzle will probably have more points than an individual puzzle because you will be comparing the answer choices, answering each one individually, and then coming up with the best response. However, it will not always be this way. You will have to assess what you learned from your puzzle and think about ways that you can apply it to the subject of your essay.Let's consider a popular example would be the term 'Scandinavian Style' - what does this term mean? Perhaps you are writing a piece about Scandinavian design, the craftsmanship and artistry of the people. Or maybe you are writing a piece on a popular fashion item from this region, such as a bikini top, or leather pants. Do you just throw out a sentence with the word 'Style' in it and move on?There are several reasons why you might find yourself in t his position and I'll share some of these with you. For one thing, you may be answering many of the same questions in a single line. While this is fine when answering simple questions like 'What is Scandinavian Style?' it is not the right approach if you need to compare and contrast. In order to compare and contrast, you must break the piece down into smaller sections, or puzzles. Each section should be composed of the same answer choices with answers that represent the reason for the topic or the question being asked. Then it is just a matter of moving on to the next section, again making sure to answer the questions correctly. As you read through each section, you'll see which parts could stand alone and which parts could be compared and contrasted with another section.Another reason why a TDA essay might present you with multiple choices is because it presents many options within each section. For example, you can analyze a particular design, such as a bootleg beach sandal that ma kes the wearer look more natural. You could also examine an element of nature or culture that you are studying in the essay. The idea is to present a logical progression in what you learn from your puzzles and you will discover a few things along the way that could actually be considered separate topics. This is a great example of how a TDA essay can be used to give you a step by step blueprint on how to do things.Another thing to consider is that any given TDA essay topic might only be presented in a single example. Think about a sport, such as sailing, where there are just a few examples. If there is no example, it is likely that there is not enough material to do an entire piece from scratch, nor is there enough information to simply use the example to build upon.An effective use of TDA essay topics would be to combine a few puzzles with your essay topic, asking yourself what you learned in each puzzle and how you might apply the answer choices to the main topic of your essay. Th e results of your examination should give you some ideas on how to bring all the pieces together in a coherent whole.
